These little boxes come in a mind -boggling variety of colors, patterns and textures. They may be small, but they give me a chance to showcase some really spectacular and unusual woods. They are finished with multiple  coats of hand-rubbed laquer and waxed to a beautiful, soft sheen.  They close very well with a lip of mahogany on the inside edge of  the lid and are lined with suede to protect whatever you choose to put inside.

These little guys are my 'plug'  boxes. Originally created for a grandmother to give as a 'tooth fairy' box,  they can hold whatever little treasures you'd like. All have a suede/foam bottom and a snug-fitting lid.  The smallest box shown is 1 1/4" x 1 1/4" x 1 1/2" (zebrawood and red oak - lower right) Available in a large range of sizes (down to 3/4" x 3/4") and wood  combinations with both round and rectangular openings.
